With more than 2 decades of experience in the market data industry, today Shai Popat heads up the Product & Commercial Strategy at SIX Group. He lives in the UK with his wife and two boys, aged 11 and 14, and is looking forward to sharing his experiences on managing a career as well as family life and trying to find a healthy balance.

Ringier - Editor at Blick
Karen is the society Editor at Blick Group since 2022. Prior to that, she was Editor-in-chief for the Swiss parenting magazine "wir eltern". Gender equality has always been a focus topic for Karen, and she has been the lead for EqualVoice of the SonntagsBlick Team from her first day in the job. As a mother of two sons, aged 12 and 15, she is excited to talk about the changing narrative on gender and working parents.

Building engaged, performance driven teams, attracting and retaining top talent, and increasing gender diversity, especially in senior roles, are all critical issues for any organization, and the stakes are high. The success of the business depends on it. While its absence can have disastrous consequences. With parents making up more than 80% of the workforce, and balancing work and family being especially relevant to the age group 30 - 45, building better workplaces for parents provides a significant opportunity to positively impact business success.
We are excited to introduce 4 individuals who are taking actions to build better workplace for parents, and hope our audience will come away with concrete ations they can start taking immediately to make an impact in their organizations.

We look forward to sharing the answers to these questions and more in our storytelling session, where moms and dads from the organization talk about what being a working parents really means and what they would wish for in a perfect world.
